Hotel Montvillargenne is an early 20th-century, Anglo Norman chateau situated on a 15-acre park, approximately 25 miles north of Paris and 20 miles from Charles de Gaulle Airport. In 1900, Baroness Jeanne de Rothschild decided to have the Chateau de Montvillargenne built. She offered the project to Chatenay, one of the architects trained at the renowned School of Fine Arts set up by Honore Daunet (the famous architect of the Chateau of Chantilly). The impact of regional and foreign styles on its architecture can be easily notices through Norman half-timbering, Wurttemberg roofing, and the Bearn balcony style. The hotel is less than two miles from Chantilly Railway Station, seven miles from Senlis (medieval city), and 20 miles from Disneyland Paris. Hotel amenities include the garden area, fitness center, indoor swimming pool, James Edouard Bar, and Le Vilargene, the hotel's restaurant with fish and seafood specialties. The hotel also offers room service, concierge assistance, free weekday newspapers, a business center, currency exchange, babysitting, laundry facilities, dry cleaning, free parking, and 24-hour front desk service. All rooms feature private whirlpool baths, wireless Internet access, multimedia services, satellite TV, in-room movies, digital safes, irons and ironing boards (on request), bathrobes and slippers, hairdryers, and minibars.
